Fig and Anise toast. Butter. Yoghurt cherry "ice-cream"

I am learning things. I am learning that if you put cherries and greek yoghurt in the freezer it does not become “ice-cream” like you might imagine. Turns out an ice cream maker is required for that and perhaps a recipe of some kind. My naive and rampant enthusiasm got in the way of research. Ah well. It wasn’t too bad. The fig and anise toast certainly made up for the shortfall in my expectations. I buttered the heck out of it and it tasted damn good.

All in all I am learning that it is far more reliable to buy baking / ice-cream than to try and attempt it myself…!
